THEN, using their links, I clicked through to the Entertainment Book site, where they are offering the books at $10 off the regular price, plus free shipping. On top of that, Cashbaq is offering a $10 rebate (as long as you click through their site to get there.) For my area, it’s normally a $25 book, so this is how it works…

(As an aside, I’ve never owned one of these before, but I anticipate it coming in handy. Have any of you had experience with these books? Did you feel like they helped you save a lot of money? Heck, since it’s free, I figure I have nothing to lose by trying it!)
We get a free one from PCS every year. If I had to pay for it, I would feel I had to use the coupons to get my monies worth. Even if I wouldn’t normally spend money on that establishment. But, since I get it for free, it is a win/win situation. That is also my problem with regular coupons. Usually I can get an off brand cheaper than buying the name brand with a coupon. Not only that, but now Aldi is usually cheaper than the off brand (but you have to be careful and watch your prices). Enjoy the book! It can be a good deal if you were already going to buy a certain item, etc.
hmmm…I think I just got screwed. I think I only got it for $15. $10 off. I have a Cashbaq tracking number…is that what you have? Will I get a check in the mail for $10? It didn’t really explain it well on the website. I definitely didn’t get the $5 sign-up bonus.
Ok, just kidding I did get the $5 bonus for signing up. I’m still confused about the extra $10 savings. I have a tracking number, but it doesn’t show up in my list of rebates. How does this work? Will the $5 be mailed to me?
In the fine print, it says that it can take a little while for the rebates (your extra $10) to show up. The retailer (Entertainment Book) has to verify that you bought the item first. It’s not showing up in my list of rebates yet either…Where did you get the tracking #? I don’t see that…And the site also says that you have to have $10 in rebates before they’ll send a check. Make sure your info is up-to-date so they know where to send it. Sorry about the confusion! This is new for me, too!
Those entertainment books Mom used to get were always cool for me, because they had restaurant and movie rental coupons, stuff I could use a lot. I thought they were pretty handy. Have fun using yours!
Emily, you definitely will get a check or Paypal. Just make sure to enter your payment information at Cashbaq.
It can take a few days for stores to tell us about your order. While we would like to get instantaneous information, we don’t. We post it as soon as we get it.
As long as your balance is at least $10 and we know where to send your check, it will go out around the 20th of the month.
As Lacey pointed out, it takes a few months for the stores to give final confirmation. That said, we are working on paying out for Entertainment Books faster than the standard 90 days.
