Good coupon day!

We hit up three stores when we were out yesterday for prayer meeting / deacons’ meeting…And it went really well!!!

First, we did Walgreens, where we got all of this stuff for $.16 after coupons and a rebate.

Then, CVS. I spent $.09 OOP, under $2 on a gift card I got for free (for filling a prescription there), and burned $.79 of ECBs for all of this! Yay for cheap diapers!

Last, we ran to Meijer for the sales. We spent $12.13 and saved $28.10 on all of this.

Thank you, Lord, for always providing for our needs! (And for blessing us with some things we don’t “need” – like chocolate!) :-)

Oh, and just for the record, Luke still isn’t convinced that this is legitimate…but it is!!! It’s just figuring out how to wisely combine sales, coupons, and rebates to maximize savings…In other words, it’s legal theft! :-)

I need to have a chat with you Lacey. I can no longer shop at Aldi so I need to become good with coupons. Shopping at Meijer is way more expensive than Aldi.

This amazes me! I hardly have time to go to the store… I hope that changes when we have kids, cause seriously… what a blessing!! See… were supposed to be good stewards of our finances, and if that means ‘legal theft’, then so be it! :)
