Walgreens is having a great deal this week. Buy 3 Robitussin or Dimetapp products at $3.99 each, and get a $10 Register Reward (in-store credit good on your next purchase). It gets better, though! So, if you buy 3 Robitussin (using the coupons), you’ll spend $2.97 plus tax and get a $10 RR!!! Even better, the coupons can be printed multiple times, so you can do this deal multiple times!
A word of caution – only ONE RR will be printed per transaction, so if you do this deal multiple times, you have to do multiple transactions. Also, you cannot “roll” this deal. In other words, do NOT pay for your second round of Robitussin with the first RR, or another RR will not print. Oh, and as I learned yesterday, you cannot redeem two RR in the same transaction (or at least they wouldn’t let me!).
You can see in the picture, I bought 5 Robitussin and 1 Dimetapp to get $20 RR, and then used those RR to buy 2 packages of Pampers, 3 boxes of Kleenex, and one package of M&Ms (my favorite candy!). It came to a grand total of $9.62 for all of that, after tax – about what I’d pay for one package of Pampers this week.
CVS went well, too! I started with $20.48 in ECBs, spent $18.48 in ECBs and $1.18 on a gift card, and ended up with $21 ECBs. So I almost broke even for all of this. I’m excited, because I got three deoderants for Luke that are normally priced $9.99 each at CVS. (As IF I’d pay $10 for deoderant! But it does work really well and smell great, too!) : – )
I’m glad you are saving money. But, it sounds so mind boggling to me. I don’t think I would attempt it.
