We have a sick little boy on our hands. I’m not sure why Caleb always seems to be the one to get the barfy flu, but it has struck again. He was awfully snuggly this morning, and then he tucked himself into bed and fell asleep. And he didn’t want lunch. So, obviously something was wrong! We checked for a fever – it was 101.7° last I checked. And then a little while ago, he threw up. Poor guy.
In this picture, his sweet sister was trying to cheer him up by reading books to him as he snuggled in his blankets on the couch. Notice she also got her purple sunglasses for him to wear, because the sun was shining in his eyes.
Pray for my little boy to get better…and pray that I don’t get sick, since he was giving me some nice smooches earlier this morning before we realized he was sick. (Mommies don’t get too many sick days!) Thanks!

Sick days for mommies? Where do I sign up? I have never gotten a sick day. Gotten sick, yes. Got the day off, no.
Poor Caleb! The pukies have gone through our whole family. It took Elyse one week to get it though. Now we hope we are all done and never see it again.
Bless his little heart! We love you, Caleb! You get better – Gma’s orders!
Elyse says: “Poor Caleb! You look like a little rock star, even though they are purple! Grace, you have to be a nice sister and tell Caleb I love him and I love you too. Loveyoubye”
Aw. Get better, buddy. You’re a good sister, Grace.
Was Caleb well enough to go to church this morning? We played hookie today. We saw Elyse’s Christmas program (which consisted of one song), then we came home. Dad preached in Hammond, but Zachary, Elyse and I stayed home. This Tuesday, I will have coughed for five weeks. Don’t you think I should be done? Have a super week! See you Friday afternoon.
Hi, it just figures you couldn’t see if it’s a boy or girl, I loved you Christmas letter. How do you get the time to do it all? Are you going to homeschool your kids?
Our anniversary is Dec 19th.
I’m so glad you take the time out of your busy life to go to Margie’s it’s so cool to see your family growing.
Love ya
Aunt Niki
