Two new homes!

Yay! This is exciting! We’re finally using our domain(s) and hosting our own blog, mostly designed by me and brought to life by my amazing husband. (He does all the hard work!) :-) So, you can call this our new “home.”

The other new home belongs to my darling sister-in-law and brother-in-law-in-law (Emily and Dan). We helped them move into their new digs this past Saturday, and it’s a beautiful home! Good job, guys! I feel like we weren’t that much help, especially since we had all three kids there, but we did have a great time catching up with all the Rumleys (minus Erin and Tobin – we missed you two!).

How has the Rumley side grown so much?! Not counting Micah (Betsey’s boyfriend), we’re up to fourteen! Here are thirteen of us at Dan and Emily’s house (that’s including Micah).

In other news, Ava is now doing the Backwards Booty Scoot. She moved all the way from the living room to the dining room today this way! Good job, Ava! You’re a mover and a shaker now!

Comments

  1. Sorry if anyone tried to view this post / comment – the site was somewhat broken all afternoon. My fault.

  2. MOM says:

Yep, we tried to check out your new site and it wouldn’t work. We figured Luke was updating something or fixing it.

Anyway, we love the pictures. Your family picture has a better picture of Dan in it. On ours, he is making a funny face. You can see our blog to see the difference.

I knew Elyse was the one with the “casket” idea. I didn’t like it at the time and tried to stop it, but it was already out in the open. Sorry! I guess older kids are always teaching the younger ones things you don’t want them to know. We have found that out for the last 27 years.

I love the picture of Dan & Emily in front of their house. It is really cute. Thanks for putting it up so I can steal it.

Luke, you do and did a great job on this site and several others. Good work!

The site looks great! Yea Ava! Maybe she wont be a crawler. Maybe she will just start walking. :-)

  4. I’m likin’ it. Maybe we could hire your services to combine our site and blog, too. I love how yours turned out!

I’m sorry we couldn’t be there this past weekend, it looks like you got a lot done and had fun with the family. Dan and Emily’s new house looks beautiful!

    Gotta go, ttyl.

  5. Emily says:

Yay for Ava! She’ll be up and around chasing Grace and Caleb before long!
