These three weeks have gone by so quickly, and Jaden is changing and growing so much. I’m enjoying him immensely. If he doesn’t have a gas bubble in his tummy or a dirty diaper, he’s a really sweet, content baby.
We had a weight check on Wednesday, and he’s up to 10lb 10oz, so the doctor was satisfied with that. I wasn’t worried about his weight, but it’s nice to have the doctors un-worried, too!
We also had an ultrasound done on Jaden’s hips on Thursday morning, and I have no idea when they’ll get the results to us. Next week sometime? I’ll let you all know when I find out.
In other news, our van died on Wednesday evening after prayer meeting. It’s still sitting at the church, and our wonderful church family has been taking excellent care of us! The Burrs let us crash their birthday party (HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ABBY!) and then let us take their van home for the evening on Wednesday. Then the Murrays found out about our situation and drove all the way out to our house on Thursday morning to let us borrow their van that they’re currently not using / trying to sell. Then they returned the Burrs’ van to them. What service!
Mr. Molda has also been working on our D-E-A-D van, figuring out the problem for us so we can get it fixed. It’s nice to have handy men around!
We are continually thankful for the amazing church family that God has blessed us with. They truly are family to us.
My computer is working again, so now I can comment. What a handsome young man! I think he looks alot like Luke (except Jaden has some hair, Luke was bald forever).
Glad you got your van fixed for a minimal cost. It seems when it rains, it pours. Our car repairs always cost $500 or more. The last one was $900 something. Yikes!
Have a GREAT Lord’s day! Loveyouall!
Oh my. I hope that van gets fixed (for a minor cost) ASAP! I’m sure you’re missing it. Sorry to hear about that!
Jaden is a beauty. What a handsome fella!
Whoops. That was Erin. This is Erin too. Not Tobin.
