Today I visited Meijer again – albeit a different Meijer. I went to the Marketplace Meijer (K-zoo and 68th), and the cashier was wonderful. Thank you, Lord!
My totals were amazing. Ready?
Total spent – $2.01
Total saved – $97.26 (ish)
12 FREE items
I admit I used a $25 OYNSO that we got for filling a prescription at their pharmacy. Of course that makes the totals better!
It was so fun to originally pay $.01 (ONE PENNY!), but then realized I missed a bag of chips in the cart (next to Gracie). So then I paid another $2, and I cannot find that receipt to see how much I saved on the chips.
It was a good trip.
And I’m still waiting to hear from anyone at the Cascade Meijer. I’m not sure anyone there cares enough to contact me, even after I gave them a very detailed report. That’s definitely a bummer. I expected better. But I’m also thankful that there are at least two other Meijer stores within a reasonable distance that I can visit for my big coupon-spending trips.
that is simply amazing! I am still trying to figure out the best system for me down here. . .
I am so glad you found a more “user-friendly” Meijers. The other one ought to be shot. Yet, I still don’t know how you do it. I can get a few bucks off my total bill, but not almost free. I guess I don’t buy things that offer coupons. Most coupons I get are for cereal and other things I don’t buy or plan to buy. I am ready for frugonomics to teach me how to do it. But, you still are amazing in my book! See you Sunday!
