Haircut day!

Well, it’s true that I hardly ever get my hair cut. It’s usually an annual thing. My last haircut was performed here in my house by my beautiful friend Andrea, at the very beginning of 2009. The one before that was in a salon and was pretty good, in April of 2008. And the one before that, in December 2006, was not my favorite.

So, today was the day! I went to Heidi Christine’s to have the beautiful Sara Molda cut it. And it was WONDERFUL!

I would highly recommend this salon. It was a beautiful, hip atmosphere. And they offer one complimentary service with each visit. So, they handed me a ring of probably five cards, and I got to choose one. It was basically a mini pedicure (after my haircut, and for FREE!). That was pretty sweet, I must admit!

I had a fun time with Sara, and I think she did a great job. But I’ll let you decide.

Here are the “before” pictures (with no makeup whatsoever, pics compliments of Gracie-girl):

DSCN4342_smallSee that wavy section in the back middle of my hair? Yep, that showed up after Ava was born. Must’ve been overloaded on pregnancy hormones right there or something. Weird.

And now the “after” pictures:

LOVE IT!!!!! How funny that the wave appeared with Ava. Who woulda thunk?

Grace – you did a great job taking the pictures.

  2. When did you get CURLY hair??????? Haha, babies do strange things to a person. I love your haircut. You look very sophisticated; like a businesswoman who could take over the world! Anyway, cute.

    Love ya!

  3. Emily says:

OOooo…I love it! The wave in the back is so crazy! Who knew? I think it complements your face very well.

  4. Betsey says:

It’s from hanging around us Rumleys. Curls are contagious. ;)

It’s BEAUTIFUL! I love it, Lace. I like how it’s in between what you’ve had before…it’s not as short as your other cuts but not as long as when you’re growing it out. Lovely. Is it a lot of work to get it to wave like that?

And, boy, those are some precious pics of Jaden! Can’t wait to see him again!

    love you!

  5. Yowzas!

  6. Andrea says:

Whoa – look at you!! It looks beautiful! Now Luke needs to take you on a big date. =) I always wondered how that salon was when we lived in GR. Free mini-pedi? Awesome!

I think Caleb has the alphabet done just about right! It is so cute when they try to repeat what they think they heard. Remember “ahbily” instead of Emily. I can’t think of anymore at this moment, Tim can’t either. I guess we are brain dead at this late hour of 8:45 on a Sunday night. Have a great week!
