Luke, the kids, and I all went out to run errands yesterday morning/early afternoon. It was partly just to get out of the house, since we’ve pretty much been home all week (besides church on Sunday and Wednesday).
Part of our trip was Meijer, where I did the aforementioned Crystal Light deal. Wowsers! Now we have 6 24-packs of water! HA! I’m not even one to buy water, but when it’s basically free, there are definitely times it can come in handy.
Other Meijer highlights:
Mott’s apple juice is on sale for $1.67 each, and there’s a $1/2 Meijer Mealbox coupon, making them $1.17 each! SO CHEAP for Mott’s! (And Mott’s Natural is Luke’s favorite – thank you, Lord!)
Ritz crackers – $2.50 each – use $1/1 manufacturer’s coupon (from last month’s huge Kraft coupon blitz) and $1/1 Meijer Mealbox coupon, making them $.50…Then pick up a box of Wheat Thins and use the Buy One Ritz Crackers, Get Wheat Thins FREE coupon. Voila! Two boxes of crackers for $.50!
Chips Ahoy – 2/$5, get a free Meijer ice cream when you buy two – use 2 $.55/1 manufacturer’s coupons to get two packages of cookies and a box of ice cream for $3.90!
Chex Mix – $1 – use $.50/1 manufacturer’s coupon from coupons.com to make them $.50 each!
On another note – I’m thinking of starting a separate blog for these frugal finds. I’d really like to be able to use our family blog just for family posts (and adorable pictures of the four sweetest children ever)!

From this post – I would read a deal blog if you started one. I went to Meijer after you posted that recent Crystal Light/water deal and Tim was amazed when I got home. You could call it something like Rumley’sReceipt (since you usually post what you spend, save, etc.) or LaceyLovesADeal. That’s all I’ve got for ya. =)

For the first time, I actually recognized some of the deals that you got (cuz I had clipped the same coupons). However, I must have missed the Mealbox coupon for the Ritz, and I only used the MFR coupon… so, I learned something from this post
