One day old – still at the hospital
One day old – welcome home, Jaden!
Two days old – in the carseat, ready to go to church for the first time!
Just had to throw this one in! Caleb, on the way to church, wearing a piece of the pretend armor he found while we were gone at the hospital. 
Three days old – at home again!
Even though people think he’s huge (and I agree that 10lb 6oz is a pretty impressive birth weight), he’s still a little baby to us.
When Jaden was four days old, Ava came down with a 102.5 degree fever. She spent nearly the entire day snuggling with Daddy. (And boy, was it wonderful to have Daddy home for the week!) The next day, she was fine again. Strange little illness!
Six days old…He’s already started smiling. How is that possible? It’s one of our favorite times of the day, when he smiles. He must’ve been having a great dream in this picture! (Sorry it’s a little blurry.)
One week old – today! I’ve been thinking that he really hasn’t changed much in this week, but looking at this picture compared to the earlier ones – he already looks older!
We thank God for a safe delivery and quick recovery, and especially for the precious gift of this little boy. We’re still working on getting him to sleep at the right times, but other than that, he’s been a joy! It’s been fun to watch his siblings love on him, and I know raising these four little ones will continue to be an adventure!
Elyse says: “Jaden is so cute! I can’t believe he is smiling at this age. How long are you staying for the wedding? Say “HI!” to everyone for me. Loveyoubye.”
Mom says: Thanks for the pictures. I think there is a big change in him. I am stealing the pictures for my files. It will be good to see you next weekend, thanks for making the effort!
PS: I love the last picture – so alert and saying, “Gimme the good stuff, or else.”

Beautiful! Thanks SO MUCH for the new photos! I feel a lot closer since I know the details and have seen the pictures now. Jaden, you are one good looking young man. And those chubby cheeks! I can’t decide who he really looks like right now. Maybe in a couple more months, I can tell. I think he’s leaning more toward the Liabenow side right now.

It looks like bringing Jaden home has been a smooth transition- yeah!! You two are parenting pros! Sometime you are going to HAVE to tell me how you take Jaden out and about and still keep him on a decent schedule!! Take care!
