A Sweet Valentine

During school last week, I asked Grace to write a Valentine’s Day letter to her daddy to practice her cursive handwriting. She decided what it would say and wrote everything herself. I just had to help with some spelling, as well as teaching her some uppercase cursive letters that she didn’t know before. I’m so proud of my 5-year-old for writing this beautiful, thoughtful letter to Luke!

If you can’t quite read it, here’s the translation:
Dear Daddy,
I love you. Happy Valentines Day! You are handsome!
Love,
Grace

And here’s a peek at Grace and Luke when she gave him the letter…

Valentine’s Day is a commercialized marketing ploy (i.e. Hallmark Holiday), but it’s still a good opportunity to teach our kids about showing love to others!

So precious. Thanks for sharing these moments with us! It’s a nice encouragement for me at the end of a school day. Grace is a delight; she reminds me so much of you, Lacey.

Speaking of you, you look GORGEOUS in that Superbowl photo. Such a pretty girl, and that purple is very flattering on you.

    Love you guys!

Love all the new pictures! Great job, Grace! Your handwriting is gorgeous.

I love Jaden playing the piano! We will have a piano player yet from that piano!

  5. Oh yeah I forgot to mention Grace already has better handwriting than me. Sheesh.
