Lacey found a sweet monarch caterpillar on our walk. A good experiment for homeschool to watch him/her develop.

I keep forgetting, but there is a Meijer bag on the front walk with a bird’s nest in it for you to take for homeschooling if you want. It was empty when we found it. It fell off of the branch when we cut one of the huge branches down in the yard a couple of weeks ago.
We did a huge project on Monarchs in 6th grade. We each had a caterpiller we had to feed and clean their cage and when they turned into butterflies we let them out! it was fun!
