Happy Epiphany!

Now that’s a phrase you don’t hear often, especially in Baptist circles. Praise God, our pastors are well-learned in church history and aren’t afraid to celebrate things that aren’t traditionally celebrated by Baptists. (Maundy Thursday, anyone?)

So, today we celebrate the time when the Magi traveled to meet Jesus. It’s so deserving of celebration for us, because it reminds us that Jesus came for the nations. It wasn’t just the Jews that He came to save…it was us, too! Praise God!
