We are the Rumleys – Luke, Lacey, Grace, Caleb, Ava, and Jaden. We’re just a busy young family striving to glorify God in every area of our lives.
Luke is a husband and daddy who enjoys music and web design. He has worked at Steelcase Inc. since November 2001. He is a deacon at Forest Hills Baptist Church, where he also plays bass guitar and is an AWANA leader. You can keep up with him on Twitter.
Lacey is a stay-at-home mom who enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She and Luke met at their alma mater, Cornerstone University, and were married on December 20, 2003. Lacey’s main ministry at church is directing Base Camp. You can read her testimony here.
Grace is a 7-year-old second grader, and she currently loves to read chapter books, make cards for people to encourage them, and dance with Daddy. She’s a very responsible and compassionate girl, she loves horses, and she is a Type 1 diabetic like her daddy.
Caleb is 5 years old. He’s in kindergarten, and is so super smart in math that he finished his math curriculum halfway through the year! He’s an awesome dancer, and he’s really good at doing super-saults.
Ava is 4 years old, and she is our girly girl. She wears dresses most of the time, puts pretties in her hair, and begs to have her nails polished. She also loves to play with her baby dolls, and she will make an excellent mommy someday.
Jaden is 2 years old, and (as the baby of the family) he is hilarious and delightful. He loves to sing his own version of the chorus of Angels We Have Heard on High at the top of his voice, inspired by Jeffrey. He also loves green tractors, riding Caleb’s scooter, and snitching food from the counter when Mommy’s cooking.
