Loving Jesus, Loving Life
When I sat Jaden on our bathroom scale yesterday, it registered 21 pounds! What a big boy! So, at 9 months old, we have moved him out of his infant carrier and into this big boy carseat! What a pumpkin!
For now, he is still rear-facing. After he turns 1 year old, we’ll turn him around, and he’ll get to experience a whole new angle on riding in the car!
We sure have been enjoying the sunshine here in the countryside of Alto-bama.

I was volunteering in the church baby nursery this past Sunday morning, and it was nice to have a little snuggle with my sleepy baby boy. But then I had to put him in the exersaucer so that I could change another child’s dirty diaper, and this is what I saw when I came back…
I must confess, one of the things I like most about taking all four kids to the store with me is the way some people react when they see our little circus in the grocery cart. I absolutely love the older men and women who will stop to ooh and ahh over the kids. Sometimes they’ll talk about how many kids they raised, and sometimes they’ll just say, “Wow, you’re a busy mom!” or something of that variety. But they always say it with a smile. Which, in turn, makes me smile.
