Emily moving to Mary Free Bed!

We think this is exciting progress for Emily, but it sounds like she is bummed about how she is progressing. She should be moved to Mary Free Bed by now.

The latest from Dan:

We are packed up and waiting for transport to take us to Mary Free Bed.

Emily had a rough night last night with a high amount of pain as well as little sleep, due to the pain. She’s taking a nap now but the transport will be here 22 minutes ago, so she isn’t going to get enough of a nap in.

She is feeling defeated. She is having a difficult time dealing with things. Hopefully the change of scenery will be a blessing in that she won’t feel like we’re going nowhere. Please pray that she stays strong, motivated, and upbeat. Three things that have always come naturally for her.

Hi, guys! I just found out 2 days ago about Emily’s struggle. It is wonderful of you to blog about your family, especially when it’s so hard in a situation like this, but I appreciate it very much so that I know how to specifically pray for Emily and Dan and all of you.

Who I am – I taught math for your dad at PCS, Luke, and I had all 3 of your sisters in my math classes. Lucky them! lol

Anyway, I’m sure you’re getting alot of messages, but I wanted Emily and your family to know that I am now among the praying people. Emily, you are strong and determined and you WILL successfully make it through your physical therapy. If anybody can do it, it’s you. I believe in you, and I believe in the Lord, and together you WILL do this. Lots of love and hugs. Mrs. Reigel

  2. So glad to hear about this move for her…I hope it’s just the thing to encourage her, as I’m sure they’re better equipped there to help her with the rehab she needs.
